Etymology: In honor of the late Prof. G. Haas, who initiated the study of fossil reptile fauna from Makhtesh Ramon.

Locality: Makhtesh Ramon, Negev, Israel.

Horizon: Muschelkalk.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Upper Anisian- lower Ladinian Stage, Middle Mid Triassic Epoch, Middle Triassic.

Material: Posterior end of 8th cervical vertebra.
